Polyurethane is a unique material that offers the elasticity of rubber combined with the toughness and durability of metal. It can be manufactured in a variety of hardness, ranging from rubber band soft to bowling ball hard. Depending on the  durometer, urethane can elongate up to 800% and returns to its' original dimension without a significant loss of memory. Our RIM Polyurethane material is a specially developed and formulated composite for the manufacture of    high  quality automotive body kits.

There is prehapes no more versatile material for so many high-performance applications than polyurethane. With a molecular structure composed of four of the most common elements - carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen - polyurethane has a combination of properties which are not available in any other thermoplastic material.

Unlike traditional fiber glass kits there is minimal distortation or splitting, and its so tough that it will blend before it breaks. Our polyurethane material also has tremendous shape memory and retention characteristic that depending on the durometer,  urethane can elongate up to 800% and returns to its' original dimension without a significant loss of memory.

 Polyurethane can replace either rubber, plastic or metal to create the ultimate material in abrasion resistance and physical properties. Polyurethane is perhaps one of the toughest, most wear and abrasion resistant material available today.
